First Solo Flight for Tom O'Flaherty .
Thomas O'Flaherty's First Solo Flight on 15th October brings his plan to build an Airstrip in County Clare and buy a Thruster Microlight a significant step closer to fruition .
Thomas O’Flaherty owns a 300 metre long field in County Clare in Ireland and having done his research he believes it is ideal for operating a Thruster Microlight, so he travels for over 6 hours from County Clare to Newtownards Airfield in Northern Ireland for flying lessons in a Thruster.
Tom’s trip to Newtownards on Sunday 15th October marked a significant milestone towards obtaining his Pilot’s Licence and opening his own Airstrip when he completed his First Solo flight in Thruster G CGFZ.
